Sam McBratney and Anita Jeram's picture book has sold more than 35m copies worldwide
Walker Books is planning a year-long programme of events in 2020 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Sam McBratney and Anita Jeram's bestselling picture book Guess How Much I Love You. The book has sold more than 35 million copies in 57 languages.
There are already ranges of Guess How Much I Love You merchandise from Rainbow Designs, Paul Dennicci and others, as well as a puppet show by Selladoor. Walker is planning "sensory story times" at festivals and story centres, and will have display material for bookshops. Partnerships for Valentine's Day and Easter, and book giveaways and charity campaigns, are to be announced.
