Visual arts and pop culture titles spearhead launch of Chronicle Chroma; Steve Crist and Gloria Fowler at the helm
Chronicle Books, distributed in the UK by Abrams & Chronicle Books, has announced a new imprint, Chronicle Chroma. Based in Los Angeles, the imprint will publish books on visual arts and pop culture, and will be led by former AMMO Books publishers Steve Crist and Gloria Fowler (pictured).
Starting later this year, Chronicle Chroma's first four titles will be photography book Ballerina Project by Dane Shitagi, Silver. Skate. Seventies, a collection of Hugh Holland's photographs of the 1970s Southern California skateboard scene, Tree of Life, a monograph by Tim Biskup, and Dream Baby Dream by Jimmy Marble. It's the second new imprint announced by Chronicle this year, following Chronicle Prism in March.
