Festival held in London park will feature authors including Howard Jacobson, Jonathan Coe and John Lanchester

After being relaunched last year, the Queen’s Park Book Festival in Brent will run 29th - 30th June. Writers on the bill include Jonathan Coe, John Lanchester, Howard Jacobson, Linda Grant, Misha Glenny and historian David Kynaston.

Theatre director Sir Nicholas Hytner, who was in conversation with actor Simon Russell Beale at last year's event, said: "it was a fantastic crowd - these kind of events in the middle of London, they actually make my heart sing - it’s great people can come together and share their love of books."

Queen’s Park Book Festival director Thomas du Plessis said: "Last year was the beginning of something really special - we sensed something would grow and blossom in the heart of our community - we can’t wait for the next Festival this June, with such an exciting programme in store."
